Give it Away Free

 * One of the easiest ways to help your site gain extra traffic is to give your customers a free gift, this can be anything that you like.

* Many of the biggest retailers in the world use this technique to sell millions of dollars worth of goods and services.

You see examples of this everywhere, buy X and get Y free worth $19.99.

 * How can use this to help your on-line business? It doesn't matter what you sell, the easiest way to offer a free gift is to create it yourself.

 * For example say you sell dog grooming products - you could write a report titled 20 insider tips to keeping your dog in good health.

 * Simply post this at your website and advertise in the relevant areas on-line. The free report will draw your customers, and when they visit your site you can sell them your products.

* Or another method is to offer the report free with a particular product or service, either way people love to get something for free. * This also helps people develop trust for your company, and who are they going to turn to when they need for e.g. New dog care products? * A free report or bonus can mean the difference between the sale you get and the sale your competitor gets, especially if your rivals price for the same item is close.

 * Your free gift or report can often be the deciding factor.

* It doesn't have to cost you a lot of money either. The above example uses a free report which would cost you pennies to reproduce, yet could result in many increased sales.

* The bottom line is, if you can offer it free, you will get more customers, and a large customer database which can be worth it's weight in gold.

* Remember if you sell to a customer once, it is far easier to sell to them again.
