Tip of the DayDriver Signing
When you're installing a new piece of software on your computer, do you ever get an error message that says something about Windows Logo testing? The driver signing feature in Windows XP allows you to make sure that the drivers you are installing for any new program, device, etc. are actually compatible with Windows.
To do this, right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop and choose Properties. Click on the Hardware tab and then the Driver Signing button. You will see a little explanation of the Windows Logo testing at the top as well.
Next, you can choose how you want your computer to notify you about the testing. You can either have your computer ignore it and not notify you at all, you can choose to be warned with a prompt each time this comes into play or you can block it, which will tell your computer to never install an unsigned driver. Once you've made your choice, just check the button next to it and then click OK twice. From now on, your computer will obey your Windows Logo testing preferences and that makes everything just so much easier!

Something to Think About by Jan Tincher
Most people aren't conscious of their selection of the words they use to consistently describe their life experiences. Many people adopt words to describe their emotions without even considering the potential impact their words have on themselves and others.
The next thing you know, this is their habitual vocabulary, and it actually shapes the way they then feel about their lives.
Take the words like humiliation or depression that people use to describe any unpleasant experience. Someone says something to them that they don't appreciate and suddenly they're humiliated/depressed.
The same thing happens when someone questions their point of view -- wham-o -- they're humiliated/depressed. *Everything* humiliates or depresses them.
Why? Because they've attached these words to almost any experience. It is critical to expand your emotional vocabulary. The words you select need to produce the emotional states you desire and deserve.
Be really, really picky on what humiliates and depresses you. Really, really picky.
Here's an article that may help. Let's Be Choosey!
You will find it here: http://www.tameyourbrain.com/letsbechoosey.htmhappened -- and that may not happen. Have faith. Share that faith.

The first pay run was BIG dollars
People have been PAID!It launched on Oct 15 and is already paying out. Lots of people are making lots of money. People are joining at the rate of about 500 per day. This is UNIQUE in that everyone helps everyone, truly. Imagine YouTube MySpace GoDaddy all in one program and everyone shares in the WORLDWIDE revenue!
This is one you don't want to miss. It is not your average program. Everyone gets paid, not just the people at the top. Plus you don't have to recruit and you will still make money. You've seen the advert a million times. Maybe it's time to take the leap?? There is a good reason why there are so many Giblink ads about.......

Food for Thought
Creating a Successful MLM Business
There was a time when Multi-Level Marketing was a dirty word to many people. It conjured up images of uncle Eddy inviting neighbors over for dinner only to hound them mercilessly to join his organization.
The Internet and America's sharp move toward home-based business has changed much of that. Today MLM companies have huge operations that rival any of America's large corporations. Members don't have to bug friends and neighbors because they can find plenty of opportunity seekers online.
I've watched the MLM industry for years. Lots of people don't make money at it because--surprise--they don't work very hard to make their business a success. On the other hand, I know plenty of folks who worked with determination and were earning six figures within a few years.
Here are some things to consider when setting up your MLM business:
1. Consider how much the business will cost you each month. If one opportunity requires you to buy $50 in product each month while another wants you to purchase $200 in product, pick the one you can easily afford month after month.
2. Get into a business that sells consumable products or services. You want customers who use it up and come back for more month after month. Repeat product sales is where the big checks come from.
3. Come up with a marketing routine that keeps you motivated. Talk to people you meet, network online, send out postcards, talk to groups. Find what works best for you, then do it, do it, do it long after anyone else would have given up. In business, being stubborn is an asset.

GrinsNew Virus
=-=-=-=-=-=A dangerous new virus is being distributed electronically. It is called the Worm Overload Recreation Killer (WORK). You can get WORK from your boss or colleagues. Do not touch it. The virus will wipe out your private life.
If you come into contact with WORK, there are two antidotes. You can purchase Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) or Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). They're available at your local grocery store.
Take repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated. Forward this warning to five friends. If you don't have five friends, you're already infected with WORK and it is controlling your life.

I knew that as I was getting older, I was finally able to admit that certain things were starting to "slip." In an effort to prevent this memory "slippage," I went enthusiastically to a three-hour seminar on memory improvement.
After an hour I slipped out. I had taken the same course, given by the same professor, last year.

A man who had just undergone a very complicated operation kept complaining about a bump on his head and a terrible headache. Since his operation had been an intestinal one, there was no earthly reason why he should be complaining of a headache.
Finally his nurse, fearing that the man might be suffering from some post-operative shock, spoke to the doctor about it.
The doctor assured the nurse, "Don't worry about a thing. He really does have a bump on his head. About halfway through the operation we ran out of anesthetic."

The Dollar Stretcher
by Gary ForemanPreparing for Recession
Lately it seems everyone is talking about a possible recession (or even a depression). When the Federal Reserve drops rates by 3/4% between meetings it's probably time for all of us to take notice. No one knows for sure whether we'll end up with a recession or not. But, as we all do know, it's always better to be prepared for financial challenges. Just in case.
The first thing is to know what your current position is. Are you spending more than you're making? Do you even know? Where does your money go each month? The only way to really find out is to track your spending for a month and compare it to your income. Don't forget to include items that happen just a few times a year (property taxes, auto insurance, etc). If you are working you should be making more than you're spending each month. That extra money can be used for paying down debt or building an emergency fund.
Next, pay down debt. It's easier to survive a job loss if you don't have a lot of bills each month. Now is the time to reduce credit card balances. Even it it means taking a second job or cutting off cable television. You'll be tempted not to do anything. Just remember that if you do lose your job it will be too late.
Look for big savings items. With lower rates now might be the time to refinance your home or car. Compare insurance rates. Make sure that you really can afford the house or car you're paying for. Typically if your house is over 40% of income or your car is over 20% you need to do radical surgery. That means moving to a cheaper home or car.
Take a serious look at your food/grocery/eating out expenses. Most people spend 15 to 20% of their money on food. But, it's real easy to spend more. And, it can happen a little at a time. That luscious $4 dessert won't bankrupt you by itself. But, it will take you one step further from your goal.
Look at your employment situation. If you're honest with yourself, it's not that difficult to recognize job troubles ahead. Is your employer in trouble? Is the whole industry suffering? Could your job be done by someone else for much lower pay? Either within the U.S. or without? Does technology threaten your job? If you can answer 'yes' to any of those questions, you'd be wise to consider what your life would be like without your present job.
Ask yourself if you'd be likely to find the same type of work at a different employer. It could be that your field is changing. That happened to me. If you're facing a similar situation begin learning a new trade now. Don't wait until you lose your job. Waiting will only make the transition longer.
No, I can't say whether you'll be affected by a recession or if there will even be a recession this year. But I can tell you that you'll be better able to handle one if you begin preparing now.
