Tip of the Day

Cheap Software

We all want to save money, but we should be smart about it. When you get an email offering, what you know is expensive software forpennies on the dollar, don't fall for it.  The same companies are offering discount prices on all kinds of software.  There are basically two problems.  Up front they tell you it will take about six weeks before you can expect delivery. First, you have no guarantee you will receive working software, and if you don’t, you have little if any recourse.

Second, These are bootleg or OEM copies from abroad. You won't get any support and in most cases you won't be able to get updates.

As much as I hate to say it... go to a local store and pay full price.

Bob

Trivia

The brass family of instruments include the trumpet, trombone, tuba, cornet, flügelhorn,
French horn, saxhorn, and sousaphone. While they are usually made of brass today,
in the past they were made of wood, horn, and glass.

Creating Your First Online Income In Your Spare Time by Ed Duvall

When it comes to starting an online business most of us don't have a lot of time to get a successful one up and running. So we end up looking for and maybe even trying some shortcuts that ends up wasting the precious little time we have in the first place.

But those are lessons to be learned from along the way.

What you really need to know about starting a part or full time online business is this....

Before you acquire the knowledge or skills you think you need for business success, first you should focus your attention on what it is you really enjoy, know about and would be willing to invest your own time and money into.

Here a a few things to help you start thinking...

* Do you have a hobby you enjoy? * Is there something you have learned from your previous job that others would like to know? * Do you know how to improve something? * Do you have a green thumb? * Can you find an automated system that will work for you?

I am sure you can think of more ideas to help you sort through the process of deciding what it is you want to do.

The next thing you might want to consider is what kind of income do you want.

Do you want just a part-time income or do you want to some day work from home on a full-time basis.

Most people like the idea of working from home full-time but if your looking to do this online you need to consider what you need to have in order to accomplish it.

* Your own product or one you can buy MRR to. * Are people looking to buy the product. * A website or blog or other platform to show it. * Design and copywrting skills. * Automated website systems. * How to get the word out about your site. * Where will you find buyers. * How will you get traffic (visitors).

Again, these are just a few of the things to consider along the way to earning online.

Well there is money to be made online, but it may not be the huge sums being hyped, but if you put in a little though and effort you can be amongst the few who are making a steady income from the net.

"Yes, Bubba, sure is true," responded the lawyer.

"And now someone is suin them fast food restaurants fer  makin them fat an cloggin their arteries with all them burgers an fries, is that true, Mista Lawyer?"

"Sure is, Bubba."

"And that lady sued McDonalds for millions when she was gave that hot coffee that she ordered?"

"Yep."

"And that football player sued that university when he  gradiated and still couldn't read?"

"That's right," said the lawyer."  "But why are you asking?"

"Well, I was thinkin... What I want to know is, kin I sue Budweiser?

"Why on earth would you want to sue Budweiser Bubba?  said the lawyer.

“Cause of all them ugly women I woke up next to?"

Contestant Sally, on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' had reached the final plateau.. If she answered the next question correctly, she would win $1,000,000. If she answered incorrectly, she would pocket only the $25,000 milestone money. And as she suspected, the Million Dollar Question was no pushover.

It was, 'Which of the following species of birds does not build its own nest but instead lays its eggs in the nests of other birds? Is it:

  A) the condor   B) the buzzard   C) the cuckoo   D) the vulture

The woman was on the spot. She did not know the answer.

She had used up her 50/50 Lifeline and her Ask the Audience Lifeline. All that remained was her Phone-a-Friend Lifeline. She hoped she would not have to use it because........ Her friend was, well, a blonde.

But she had no alternative. She called her friend and gave her the question and the four choices. The blonde responded unhesitatingly:

'That's easy. The answer is C: the cuckoo..'

The contestant had to make a decision and make it fast.

She considered employing a reverse strategy and giving any answer except the one that her friend had given her.

And considering her friend was a blonde that would seem to be the logical thing to do. But her friend had responded with such confidence, such certitude, that the contestant could not help but be convinced.

Crossing her fingers, the contestant said, 'C: The cuckoo.'

'Is that your final answer?'

'Yes, that is my final answer.'

'That answer is Absolutely correct!   You are now a millionaire!'

Three days later, the contestant hosted a party for her family and friends, including the blonde who had helped her win the million dollars.

'Jeni, I just do not know how to thank you, ' said the contestant. 'How did you happen to know the right answer?'

'Oh, come on,' said the blonde 'Everybody knows that cuckoos don't build nests. They live in clocks.'

A respectable lady went into the pharmacy, walked up to the pharmacist, looked straight into his eyes, and said, 'I would like to buy some cyanide.'

The pharmacist asked, 'Why in the world do you need cyanide?'

The lady replied, 'I need it to poison my husband.'

The pharmacist's eyes got big and he exclaimed, Lord have mercy! I can't give you cyanide to kill your husband. That's against the law! I'll lose my license! They'll throw both of us in jail! All kinds of bad things will happen. Absolutely not! You CANNOT have any cyanide!'

The lady reached into her purse and pulled out a picture of her husband in bed with the pharmacist's wife.

The pharmacist looked at the picture and replied, 'Well now, that's different. You didn't tell me you had a prescription.'

"Cooking for the Empty Nest"
Recipe of the Week

Chicken Pasta Salad

2 boneless chicken breasts
3/4 cup steak sauce
1 (12 ounce) package fussili or bowtie pasta
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 medium Vidalia onion, diced
2 avocados, peeled and diced
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup blue cheese or ranch salad dressing

Place chicken in plastic bag and pour 1/2 cup chipotle sauce over chicken. Close bag and refrigerate 1 - 2 hours. Remove chicken, discard sauce. Season chicken with salt and pepper and broil or grill until done. Cool slightly and cut into thin slices. Set aside. In a small bowl, whisk 1/2 cup chipotle sauce, 2 tablespoons olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Set aside.

Brush cut side of rolls with remaining olive oil. Grill or toast in oven until golden brown. Place Brie slices on bottoms of rolls and bake 350 degree oven 2 - 3 minutes until cheese is melted. Spoon chipotle vinegar mixture over cheese, arrange chicken slices on cheese and top with a piece of leaf lettuce and replace top roll. Serve at room temperature.

Remaining chipotle vinegar mixture can be used to dip sandwich. These sandwiches are delicious.
