Tip of the Day

Cheap Software

We all want to save money, but we should be smart about it. When you get an email offering, what you know is expensive software forpennies on the dollar, don't fall for it.  The same companies are offering discount prices on all kinds of software.  There are basically two problems.  Up front they tell you it will take about six weeks before you can expect delivery. First, you have no guarantee you will receive working software, and if you don’t, you have little if any recourse.

Second, These are bootleg or OEM copies from abroad. You won't get any support and in most cases you won't be able to get updates.

As much as I hate to say it... go to a local store and pay full price. Check out your local discount stores as they may have it cheaper

Bob

Trivia

The brass family of instruments include the trumpet, trombone, tuba, cornet, flügelhorn,
French horn, saxhorn, and sousaphone. While they are usually made of brass today,
in the past they were made of wood, horn, and glass.

Quote of the Day

Seize the day, and put the least possible trust in tomorrow."

Creating Your First Online Income In Your Spare Time
by Ed Duvall

When it comes to starting an online business most of us don't have a lot of time to get a successful one up and running. So we end up looking for and maybe even trying some shortcuts that ends up wasting the precious little time we have in the first place.

But those are lessons to be learned from along the way.

What you really need to know about starting a part or full time online business is this....

Before you acquire the knowledge or skills you think you need for business success, first you should focus your attention on what it is you really enjoy, know about and would be willing to invest your own time and money into.

Here a a few things to help you start thinking...

* Do you have a hobby you enjoy? * Is there something you have learned from your previous job that others would like to know? * Do you know how to improve something? * Do you have a green thumb? * Can you find an automated system that will work for you?

I am sure you can think of more ideas to help you sort through the process of deciding what it is you want to do.

The next thing you might want to consider is what kind of income do you want.

Do you want just a part-time income or do you want to some day work from home on a full-time basis.

Most people like the idea of working from home full-time but if your looking to do this online you need to consider what you need to have in order to accomplish it.

* Your own product or one you can buy MRR to. * Are people looking to buy the product. * A website or blog or other platform to show it. * Design and copywrting skills. * Automated website systems. * How to get the word out about your site. * Where will you find buyers. * How will you get traffic (visitors).

Again, these are just a few of the things to consider along the way to earning online.

Well there is money to be made online, but it may not be the huge sums being hyped, but if you put in a little though and effort you can be amongst the few who are making a steady income from the net.

A Little Humor to Start the Week

Break up
=-=-=-=-=-=

My girlfriend broke up with me. She said it's because I was always correcting her.

She came over to my house and said, "Eddie, we need to talk."

I said, "My name is Eric."

She said, "See? I can't say anything right around you!"

-----

"You admit having broken into the dress shop four times?" asked the judge.

"Yes," answered the suspect.

"And what did you steal?"

"A dress, your honor," replied the suspect.

"One dress?" echoed the judge. "But you admit breaking in four times!"

"Yes, your honor," sighed the suspect. "But three times my wife didn't like the color of the first three."

-----

When I go to a local discount store to get oil and filters for my car, I buy my wife a bouquet of flowers on display near the checkout counter.

During one trip, some women in line behind me were oohing and aahing about a husband getting flowers for his wife. "How often do you do that?" one asked.

Before I could answer, the cashier, more than familiar with my routine, said, "Every three months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first."

-----

Riddle

There was a wise king who had two sons. He wanted to make sure his two sons would not fight over his fortune when he was gone. What did the king write in his will to ensure his two sons would split up his fortune fairly?

Do you know the answer? Scroll down to find the solution.

1 (12 ounce) package fussili or bowtie pasta
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 medium Vidalia onion, diced
2 avocados, peeled and diced
1 cup halved cherry tomatoes
1 cup blue cheese or ranch salad dressing

Marinate chicken breasts in steak sauce for 15 to 60 minutes. Grill until done and chop into bite-size pieces.

In a large pot of boiling water, add the bouillon cubes and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water and drain.

In a large bowl, combine chicken, pasta, onion, avocados and tomatoes. Add salad dressing, mix and refrigerate until chilled. Stir in additional salad dressing when ready to serve, if desired.

Solution for the Riddle

He wrote one son would split up all his fortune into two piles.
Then the other son got first pick!

I may be schizophrenic,
but at least I have each other.
